Users gadget (adding fields)

I need to add fields at register (like phone or address), but I can´t. I´ve tryied creating the cells in the db, then wrote (just like the URL, ´cause I supposed that it would be the same) in these files:

· User.php (at Include),
· en.php, es.php (at languages),
and in the Users´s Gadget:
· adminAjax.php, AdminHTML.php, HTML.php, LayoutHTML.php, Model.php, script.js (at resources),
· schema´s (all)
· and Register.html, YourProfile.html at Templates.

But, it didn´t work. Any idea?
