Secured website area, for members only

Hi,

I was thinking to make a secured area which only logged in people can see. I looked around the forum, but couldn't find anything solid about how to realize this.

I want to make a Photo-album in the secured area, and some static pages.. But I can't figure out how to do this..
I installed the Acceslimiter plugin, but this only 'hides' certain parts of the text, not the whole page..

In my idea it should be, that when logged-on you get one or two extra menu items leading you to the secured pages. But if your not logged in, and you'd type the url for the secured page in your browser you should be sent to the login page.

Does someone already have something like this?
